Mohawk PR grad Kate McKenna is travelling the world, courtesy of Transat Holidays. Kate, a 2010 graduate, was selected over thousands of applicants to be the Transat Vacationer. Kate began her travels in January and is travelling to one exotic location per month for the year. This "unconventional PR job" pays $40,000 for the year and includes the travel expenses.
Kate's job? Travel the world and post blogs and videos to the Transat Vacationer Web site. Hopefully, those skills learned in the PR Communications Technologies class are coming in handy. Kate recently spoke to the PR students about the opportunity, calling the experience a "dream job."
